So called the Red Chicory. Radicchio has wine-red leaves with white ribs.
PLANTING
Better to have frequent but not over irragation. Radicchio seeds go dormant when soil temperature over 25oC.
FLAVOUR
Bitter and sweet.
CULINARY USE
Commonly eaten grilled, also use as garnish due to the complex colour.
