2-3cm round chilli pepper with medium thick walls.This is quite hot with Scoville heat unit 3,000 - 5,000. Ripening from green to dark red when mature.
PLANTING
It prefers rich and moist soil. Avoid soil that previously growed tomatoes or eggplants. Don't leave water on leaves overnight as this encourages disease.
FLAVOUR
Crunchy and juicy, spicy with mild sweet flavour.
CULINARY USE
Eat raw or cooked, and commonly pickled. Perfectly paired with feta or cream cheese. |
