Alfalfa sprouts are actually a superfood! It contains significant iron, protein, dietary fibre and vitamin K, etc. It also contains a high concentrations of antioxidants. It is an ironic in the sprouts category.
PLANTING
Soak seeds for 6-8 hours. Rinse and drain. Spread evenly in sprouting container. Rinse and drain 2-3 times per day for 3 days. After that, rinse once per day until harvest. When sprouts have reached the desired size, expose them to light for a few hours to colour them up.
FLAVOUR
Mild, nutty flavour.
CULINARY USE
Add alfalfa sprouts to any dishes, salads, soups, sandwiches, stir-fries, burgers, etc. It works also perfectly as garnishes.
REMARKS: The way this product (raw seeds) stored and packed is not purposed for ready-to-eat so don't consume (raw seeds) direct. |
