Fenugreek sprouts are known for their therapeutic and immune-boosting properties. It is rich in polysaccharide, it gives a feeling of fullness thus discouraging overeating, a good ingredient to get weight loss. Widely used in Indian and American meals.
PLANTING
Soak seeds for 6-8 hours. Rinse and drain. Spread evenly in sprouting container. Rinse and drain 2-3 times per day for 3 days. After that, rinse once per day until harvest. When sprouts have reached the desired size, expose them to light for a few hours to colour them up.
FLAVOUR
Slightly spicy and farily bitter.
CULINARY USE
Add them to salad or sandwiches, stir-fry is also a good option.
REMARKS: The way this product (raw seeds) stored and packed is not purposed for ready-to-eat so don't consume (raw seeds) direct. |
