Self explained by it's name! Butter lettuce is tender that it melts in the mouth like butter (but it doesn't has a butter taste). It forms large head of leaves resembling an open rose which is beautiful.

PLANTING

Need sunlight to grow properly. Try not to plant them too close to each other as this could cause the lettuce to have a bitter taste.

FLAVOUR

Slightly sweet and bitter, more sweet than bitter.

CULINARY USE

Ideal for wraps and sandwiches. Add to any recipes ask for soft but not crunchy leafy greens.
