Commonly called the pot Marigold. It's a beatiful mix of big blooms in red, yellow, orange, white. Normally used for cut flowers. The petals are edible and used in cooking.

PLANTING

Cover seeds lightly on sterilized soil, need darkness to germinate.

HABITS

Calendulas needs not much care and it will adapt to the environment in most cases. Use well drained soil and water only occasionally after plant established. 

TIPS

Too much care will result in slow growth. This variety works well in containers or beds in full sun or shaded. Harvest when flowers are half open.
