Rich in antioxidants, very nutritious. Cabbage red heads can grow up to 1kg - 1.5kg. Must not miss by home gardeners.

PLANTING

Cabbage is a heavy feeder, it works best in fertiled and well-drained soil. Feed it with nitrogen-rich fertilizer in the early stages. It likes sun but make sure you give it enough water so it will not dry out.

FLAVOUR

Sweet, and more peppery taste than the green one. 

CULINARY USE

Use it raw in salad, it is the key ingredient for coleslaw. Braised, pickled, and  rosted alternatively.
