Many people confuse Chevil with Italian Parsley by just looking at it. In fact they are relatives. It is also one of the Fines Herbs in French Cuisine.
PLANTING
Light is required for germination. Full sun is preferred.
FLAVOUR
It can be described as a combination of tarragon, parsley and mint.
CULINARY USE
It's a delicious substitute to parsley. It is commonly used to season poultry, seafood, soups, sauces, raw vegetables, omelets, etc. Same to other herbs, it's flavour is highly valitile under high temperature, so it's recommended to chop and add when you finish cooking.
